Trouble finding a costume?

Halloween is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing: most people are scrambling around last minute looking for some sort of Halloween costume.

Sure, there are the old standbys –a cereal killer for the punny people, a morphsuit for the lazy individual or Shark Week for the haphazardly put together group–but if you are looking for something a bit different this year, look no further.

Netflix and Chill

Everyone’s favorite meme of 2015, Netflix and Chill makes the perfect Halloween costume. All you need is a red shirt, a printed out Netflix logo and a bag of ice and you’ll be ready to “watch Netflix” all night.

This costume also works wonderfully if you’re looking to dress up with a partner. One of you can wear red clothes and dress up as Netflix, and the other person can wear a sweater and a scarf and dress up as Chill.

Edgar Allen Bro

A modern update on one of Halloween’s favorite poets, Edgar Allen Bro combines the best of the literary and bro worlds. Throw on at least one polo shirt (the more the merrier) or a classic bro-tank and tie an ascot around your neck. To complete the look, draw on a nice pencil mustache and muss up your hair to achieve Poe’s disheveled look.

Spend the night discussing your tell-tale heart, spewing some “broetry” and looking for your own Annabel Lee.

Bonus points if you find a friend to dress up as a raven who only says “Nevermore, brah.”

Favorite Mario Kart Track

Everyone has seen a group dressed as Mario Kart characters dashing around the cafeteria at some point in their life. Instead of dressing up as actual characters, why not dress up as your favorite Mario Kart Track? With the nearly endless options, this costume is perfect for a group of any size.

Love the simplicity of Mario’s Raceway? Wear all black, draw some road lines and make a large green pipe to wear around your waist and you’re set.

Have a fiery personality? Bowser’s Castle would be the perfect track for you. Find some clothes with a grey brick or lava pattern and draw some fireballs on them.

Last but not least, someone can dress up as the track everyone loves to hate, Rainbow Road. All you’ll need is some rainbow-patterned clothes, some star stickers and a healthy sense of masochism.

A Sheet Ghost

It’s called a classic for a reason. A sheet ghost is a sleek, effortless and customizable costume that’s perfect for any Halloween occasion.

If you’re a sheet ghost purist, all you’ll need is a simple white sheet. Cut some holes for the eyes and your look is complete.

If you’re looking for something that will stand out in the crowd, use a neon yellow sheet. Follow the same steps as with the white sheet and no one will be able to take their eyes off you.

Trying to catch a certain someone’s attention? Try dressing up as a sexy sheet ghost. Take a white sheet, cut some holes for the eyes and to finish the look toss some lingerie or boxer-briefs over the sheet.

No matter how you style it, this costume will guarantee a boo-tiful Halloween. Plus, you won’t have to spend money or much time. Can you say “cheap, easy and sustainable?”

So, turn on your favorite Halloween music and head to Ragstock to pick up whatever materials you need to create the perfect costume. No matter if you are going solo or dressing up as a group, these costumes will surely get you attention or at least save you from having to make up an excuse about why you aren’t dressing up this year.
