St. Olaf Flirts provides an outlet to express student crushes

It’s back everyone! St. Olaf Flirts is back on Facebook. For those who don’t know, St. Olaf Flirts is a Facebook page where students can send in “flirty” messages to their crushes, or even just to the extremely attractive student they pass on their way to class everyday.

All posts are anonymous, so there is no need to fear your crush will discover your true identity. You can spill your heart out. If you don’t want to send your crush a secret message, you can simply follow the page and see everyone else’s attractions.

St. Olaf Flirts started up the school year by posting, “St. Olaf Flirts is back for some lovin.’ (blowing kiss emoji) Send us some flirts babez!!!!” Soon enough, students had sent in multiple flirts letting their crushes know that they are admired.

The secret to good flirts is to keep it light and funny. Most flirts include just the crush’s first name and first initial of their last name – if the name is given at all.

Descriptions of your crush also work as well. Honestly, whatever works. The one restriction is that you keep the posts relatively PG-13. Nothing too explicit.

Even if you don’t know anything about a person except their looks, you can always look to St. Olaf Flirts for help, which is exactly what one student did in their post.

“This early afternoon in the Cage, there was a gorgeous Kit Harrington-esque fella at the condiments bar. Please reveal your fine self so I know you’re not just a young hot professor,” the student wrote.

St. Olaf Flirts has over 2,200 followers, so the majority of campus at least has access to the content posted on the page.

If you don’t want to be left out of the loop, St. Olaf Flirts is probably a good place to start. Also, keep in mind, you never know if you or one of your friends will be mentioned in a flirt, so you might want to pay attention to the page.

One flirty student used St. Olaf Flirts to reach out to a certain “Nick L.”

“Nick L music man with some scruff: you are so dreamy. I can’t get your sweet melodic voice out of my head. You are straight up magical,” the student wrote.

Will you find your perfect match on St. Olaf Flirts and live happily ever after? Probably not. Regardless, it’s still a fun page to browse every once in a while.
