Don’t give up yet!

Winter in Minnesota is notoriously dark, gloomy, and cold. Easing into Spring is slow and painful, with blizzards following 50 degree days, and a constant sheen of ice across sidewalks and roads. So if you find yourself shuffling to class trying not to slip, eyeing the dark sky, and missing your bed, here are some things to look forward to. First of all, warmer weather, with temperatures this March hopefully hovering around the 40-60 degree range.

And if you’re a fan of romantic period pieces, the second season of Bridgerton will be released on Netflix March 25. With tea parties, balls, feathered gowns, and handsome protagonists the show is sure to bring some color to your TV screen — and cheeks — it is the perfect show to binge over spring break! Which is also quickly approaching. Try to look forward to upcoming vacation days or a quiet week at home. This should give us all the time we need to to read a book, finish a show, or take a copious amount of naps. Whatever your upcoming plans, remember summer is sticking its nose over the horizon, flowers are soon to be blooming, and we can survive a May snowstorm. Maybe.
